Symone Wong has been blessing us with her acrylic on canvas paintings for a few years now, and although she has seemingly wowed us overnight, this beauty has been developing her craft since she was very young. Born in Jamaica, West Indies, and raised in Queens, she grew up in a multi talented household.  Symone has had a life-long interest in art, although opting for a communications degree in college. She began acrylic painting as a hobby about 4 years ago. Primarily through self-training and workshops she has branched out into a full-time artist and curator. She recently partnered up with her best-friends Jarryn Mercer and Melissa Sutherland to open up an art gallery in Brooklyn, NY.
